Chiropractic care is a healthcare approach focused on diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those related to the spine. Chiropractors use hands-on techniques, primarily spinal adjustments, to correct misalignments or dysfunctions in the spine and other joints. This treatment aims to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance the body's natural ability to heal. Chiropractic care is often sought for conditions such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, and joint problems, but it can also support overall wellness by improving posture, reducing stress, and enhancing nervous system function. Chiropractors take a holistic approach, emphasizing the connection between the spine, nervous system, and overall health, and they often incorporate lifestyle advice, exercise recommendations, and nutritional counseling to complement treatment.

Acupuncture is often used to treat a wide range of conditions, including pain, stress, anxiety, headaches, digestive issues, and sleep disturbances. By stimulating certain points along the body’s meridians, acupuncture is believed to enhance circulation, reduce inflammation, and release endorphins, which can help alleviate discomfort and improve overall well-being. It is a safe, minimally invasive therapy that is increasingly recognized as a complementary treatment for both physical and emotional health concerns.

Osteopathic practitioners, or osteopaths, use a combination of manual techniques—such as stretching, gentle pressure, and mobilization—to improve movement, alleviate pain, and enhance the body’s natural healing processes. Osteopathy is often used to treat conditions such as back and neck pain, headaches, joint problems, sports injuries, and postural imbalances. It also supports general wellness by promoting better circulation, improving flexibility, and reducing stress. Osteopaths take a whole-body approach, looking beyond the symptoms to understand the root cause of discomfort or dysfunction, and tailor treatments to each individual’s unique needs. It was then that she started her yoga instructors which opened her perspective to more. With this new foundation Caila completed a year at CCNM the Naturopathic College in Toronto. It was within this year that Caila was introduced to acupuncture and that is when she felt the most aligned.
